God Has Given Me My Purpose

      God has been so amazing to me lately. My relationship with him has never been stronger and my whole world revolves around him. He has been moving an working in me so much and it is so humbling to grasp the fact of how big he is. The more he uses me the more humble I am. My small group on Wednesday night went really well. The words I spoke opened up the girls hearts and God gave me an example of how my words were all his.

     In small group I was talking about the difference between good and bad gossip. I used the example of being older and your best friend told you she was pregnant with her and her husbands first child. You were so excited and wanted to tell everyone but she said not to because she wanted to announce it at another time. If you told people anyway, that would be gossip. Someone in the small group then went home to watch the movie Grease (my second favorite musical) and she texted me and told me that it reminded her of what I had said. To anyone that has seen Grease, you know the part where Rizzo tells

  Marty she thinks she pregnant? Rizzo says “Hey, promise you won’t tell anybody?” and Marty says “Sure Rizzo I’

ll take it to the grave, okay?” [Yes, I did that from memory, I know every word to that movie] and then Marty walks back out to the Drive-In and tells EVERYONE till it gets around to Kenickie in about point three seconds? Well as soon as she saw that she was reminded of it.

     Then God has really been laying one of my girl friends on my heart. She is going through tons of stuff and I heard a new song from Stellar Kart called Jesus Loves You. I sent it to her and she appreciated it so much. A few weeks ago she admitted to me that I was her hero for being so committed to church and God.

     God is just so good and his plan for me has just been unraveling at my feet. He has given me my purpose and he has told me what he wants out of my life. I can't wait to grow up so I can start full time ministry and just love on people in the name of Jesus. I thank the Lord everyday for giving me my purpose.
